Volunteers are the backbone of Midcoast Senior College (MSC). They assist in many MSC administrative functions, including helping with bulk mailings, the annual luncheon meeting, excursions, and class registrations. Our Instructors and Members of our Board of Directors are also volunteers.

Volunteers may also serve as class liaisons. In this function, they assist the instructor by organizing student name tags, monitoring the instructor’s mail box, distributing class handouts etc.
All are welcome to become volunteers, and in most cases, no special skills are required.
Volunteers are also needed with skills in fund raising and grant writing, along with computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, Access data bases, website maintenance (WordPress), and QuickBooks.
Volunteers assist at various events
Most of us believe that we get a lot out of Senior College; we are asking all of our members, who are able to, to give a little of your time and become a volunteer. You can use skills you already have or develop new ones. You can help for a few hours occasionally, or devote more time as you become interested in what we do.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer or desiring additional information may contact Mary Ann Gesner at 207-442-7349, or e-mail us (email@example.com) including your name, telephone number, and e-mail address, and we’ll contact you about what you might be interested in doing and to tell you about our needs.
