Reg Elwell graduated from Harvard College with a degree in history and holds a Masters degree from the Yale School of Forestry.  He worked for twenty-eight years in the forest products industry in central and eastern Maine.  After retiring from forestry work, Reg had a second career in professional fund raising and development at Boston University and Massachusetts General Hospital, before retiring back to Maine in 2009.

Reg’s volunteer activities in Maine include service on the Finance Committee of the Brunswick Unitarian Universalist Church, and with Midcoast Hospital, the Bowdoin Community Chorus, Brunswick Rotary, and the Joshua Chamberlain Civil War Round Table and Civil War Book Club.
