Information Technology: A Primer for Non-Technical People

9:30–11:30 a.m. 6-week course begins 3/10  

This course provides an introduction into how computers work: the hardware, the software, and different networks in use today. Also included are discussions on computer programs, decision support systems, management information systems, security, electronic commerce, and ethical and social issues associated with computer use.

Ed Cherian was a professor of information systems for many years at George Washington University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. MSC.
