Member support is crucial to the on-going operations of Midcoast Senior College.
Members support us in many ways — by taking courses, participating in our lecture series, joining in our excursions, becoming volunteers, and assisting us financially.
Membership fees and course tuitions help to cover many of our administrative costs, but the generous financial support of community members is also needed to strengthen MSC’s work and to build an endowment. Donate here!
Volunteers are the backbone of Midcoast Senior College (MSC). They assist in many MSC administrative functions, including helping with bulk mailings, the annual luncheon meeting, excursions, and class registrations. Our Instructors and Members of our Board of Directors are also volunteers.
Teach for Us
Those who teach at Midcoast Senior College volunteer their time and expertise in support of an intellectually challenging educational organization that inspires and refreshes lifelong learners. Most of our faculty are drawn from retirees from various backgrounds and vocations who have moved to this area. While many of our faculty have had careers at a university, college or secondary school, we also have business persons, medical professionals, lawyers, musicians, artists and former government employees teaching for us.
