Post-1945 Europe: Selected Topics

This course will focus, in a selective fashion, on major developments in Europe since World War II. Special attention will be devoted to the Cold War, NATO, postwar recovery, European integration, Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, and the emergence of a restructured Europe. Victor Papacosma had a 42-year career at Kent State University where he taught history courses on the Balkans, contemporary Europe, and 20th-century European diplomatic and security issues. MSC.
