Movies represent a highly effective and specialized form of communication. They tell a story in immediate, emotional, and impactful ways. The techniques of screen writing can be learned in concrete terms and can be used to develop a writing idea, to advance to action, to draw close to the characters, and to swallow up your readers in an entertaining, disturbing or thrilling experience. In this class we will write short screenplay segments and will analyze your narrative writing for “movie tips”. MSC. Limit 26.
