American Jewish History

This will be a survey of American Jewish participation in the history of the United States. From earliest days, 1654 to the present Jews have looked at America as a land of opportunity and have given their talents, abilities, and in some cases their lives to the land they called the “Di Goldene Medine” (The Golden Land).” In return American has had a profound influence on Judaism as a religion. It makes a fascinating tale.

Theodore Stainman is a graduate of Rutgers University and the Hebrew Union College. He also served as a military Air Force Chaplain for 23 years.  He has taught courses for the college in American Religious History and Bible History previously.
