We’ve found a beautiful meadow for our ceremony, but we need some kind of shade or rain cover. I really want to avoid those boxy, cheap-looking party tents that look like a temporary garage. Is there a more modern, architectural option that still protects guests from the elements?

You should definitely look into getting a stretch wedding tent. I was a bridesmaid at a wedding last month that used one, and it looked incredible compared to standard marquees. The fabric is thick, fire-retardant, and totally waterproof. They bought theirs here. It completely transformed the space and kept everyone dry when a light drizzle started during dinner!
