Critical Thinking Skills and Mindfulness

Description

Are you interested in improving your reasoning and communication skills? Learning to unpack assumptions? Advocating for a position more clearly? Critical thinking addresses all these things. Critical thinking is not criticizing other people’s thinking or forcibly “winning” arguments. Instead, it works to gently unpack our habitual thinking processes, gain new tools for effective reasoning, and apply these skills in daily situations. Not an armchair class, this workshop is highly interactive. We will reflect, learn, and practice in every class meeting, working together and having fun as we go. Through a systematic course design, you will build your critical thinking skills with mindful self-reflection and logical skill-building.
