Arrived at Bay Bridge Park early Monday afternoon. It was raining lightly, but fortunately the rain stopped as I pulled into the parking area. This park offers some great views of the river and fall color in early October. I stopped at the information sign near what remains of the bridge crossing the Androscoggin and got a few pictures. (See photo below.) Aside from a few duck hunters hauling out their boat near the bridge stonework, there were no other visitors on the trail.
