Enjoyed the hike around Butler Head this morning:  As we went along Pintrail Trail, observed the maple sugar collection apparatus and was impressed with the Rockfall area: almost looked like many stones had been cut away from the overlying ledge but I doubt it as I didn't see any of the tell tail markings and they did not look like granite. Further along on Harlequin Trail and Whistler Trail, I began to focus on the recycling process of the woodlands including woodpeckers, decaying trees and fungi. A couple photos to follow. Also, came across some duck hunters in Butler Cove with camouflaged boat, decoys and duck call. David
