Some of us objected to Frost’s readings, in part to their speed. I got wondering, though, if he meant to stress the way talk flows over and perhaps against meter. I don’t fully understand what he means by the sound of sense, but maybe he did have a reason for speaking somewhat quickly and making no stop at the end of lines, especially enjambed ones.

Just what I was thinking.  He's demonstrating his "sound of sense."  I find his readings compelling. Thanks for this, Anonymous.
