Essential Opera: The 20th Century

This six-week survey course explores the remarkable variety of operatic styles developed in the 20th century. We will take an in-depth look at a different opera in each session and, as in previous courses, will rely on material currently available on YouTube as our primary resource. Additional resources will be recommended during the course.
