Bruce Hauptli will lead Midcoast Senior College as board president starting July 1, 2024. Bruce joined the board in July of 2021 and completed his first three-year term this spring. He has led the Development Committee, served on the Curriculum Committee, and has taught several philosophy courses for MSC. He earned a BA in mathematics from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI; and a MA and PhD in philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Bruce and his wife, Laurie, retired to Bath in 2015.
